We Have a New Print: The Tower Theatre

Exploring connections to the Tower Theatre in Oklahoma City

Many people from OKC have memories of this venue that bring up emotions. I’ve driven by it many times and stopped on a winter night to take a snap. We now have prints of Laurel’s painting of OKC’s beloved landmark, “The Tower Theatre." For shows in the pipeline, click here. I know there will be Eagles and Elton John tributes, along with shows that include Postmodern Jukebox, Kathleen Madigan and Cannons..

The Tower Theatre opened in 1937 and was where folks went to see movies before VCR’s and streaming came to be. The Tower closed as a movie venue in 1989.
