As a graphic designer, illustrator and observer, I love to illustrate what I see. I’m offering prints from projects I’ve participated in with other artists that I met on Instagram. Projects like the 100 Day Project, an online global art project that’s free. Click here to learn more about the 100 Day Project. At the beginning of the project, you are asked to come up with a theme, something you will use for the ensuing 100 days. My theme was “Stripes and Things.” My theme evolved to where I played around with a technique of laying down acrylic paint in a different way to make stripes.
I also paint with gouache and ink, and used that combination to illustrate “Big Sur.” I gain inspiration from other graphic designers and Paula Scher is a big influence. All illustrations are printed on archival paper.
